Read your post and started scrunched my face about 6 different ways. ? No way I can do 10! It would be more like a 100. Different bands that is. Stuff like Dire Straights, Little feet, Pousette Dart band, Fanny… The list is long! ?

I see you're a mellow rock fan. Let's see if I can narrow it down to 10. I listen to classic rock, alternative, grunge, country, easy listening depending on my mood:

1. Tool - 46 and 2
2. Pear Jam - Elderly Woman standing behind a counter in a small town
3. Fleetwood Mac - Go your own way
4. Coway Twitty - Slow Hand
5. Van Halen - Mean Streats
6. Metallica - Wasting my hate
7. Urge Overkill - Sister Havana
8. Motley Crue - Kickstart my heart
9. Bruce Springsteen - Thunder road
10. Robert Plant - 29 Palms

That's a decent selection but it's hard to narrow it down to 10.

Thanx for all the replies. Some GREAT tracks and lots of memories in all your lists. Now I’ll have to educate myself as well.
Agreed…hard to pare a lifetime down to 10

when i was 17 or 18 my high school buddies got us tickets to see CDB at billy bobs in fort worth for my birthday. we had table seats center stage up front, charlie and the band put on one of the best concerts ive ever been to in my entire life. the place was packed loud smokey and uncomfortable and i loved every second of it lol. the music on the albums i had heard never showed just how talented he was, and the band as a whole. during the show they all had riffs and solos just having fun and they were amazing musicians. ive never seen anyone saw a fiddle like that. just mind blowing. Shane smith and the saints have a talented fiddle player but charlie would have eaten him alive. lindsey sterling is a very talented fiddle player also, and id eat her alive lol. ?

I love Southern rock and have seen many of the bands when I younger. I never did see CDB but one of the best shows we saw was Molly Hatchet when they played a small venue in W Hartford, CT at a place called the Agora Ballroom. It was an old warehouse converted into a bar and they'd have many top bands there. Very up close and personal and a hell of a show! Darn I really miss those days and many today will never know how good it was to grow up back then!!

Here you can see all the bands that have played there over the years from The Ramones, NRBQ, Anthrax, Cheap Trick and even Joan Jett. lol
