Someone’s Gonna Overpay for This 1978 Ford Bronco With a Super Duty Face. https://www.thedrive.com/news/43602...-this-1978-ford-bronco-with-a-super-duty-face
I will tell you a little story of these Broncos. There is an internal spring to counter balance the very heavy tailgate (No Dampers available in that time frame). The spring end was secured in a spot welded bracket on the inside of the tailgate. This bracket had a rough life and later on the bracket spot welds would fail and the spring would let loose with the secured end hitting the window glass and shattering it completely. Not too bad to replace the glass but the counterbalance spring was a problem to not damage the painted surface... Usually welded and the tailgate repainted...

best,
Phil
