Well after hitting a little bit of the East side I have found out that Tincup Pass will be open for fun at the end of the month. There is still a little bit of snow on the East side of the pass at the summit. Curious who all might want to get together and have fun hitting that pass? Might include a few others since it takes maybe 2 hours to do.

I would say the 2nd but I can guarantee the trails.will be packed then. With that said either the 25th or the 9th. That way less chance of people out there(you could say I have ran into some side by sides that think they own the trail).

Well I'm now looking at July 9th or 10th. Not sure yet but I suspect the 9th. The plan is to do Tincup pass with Cumberland pass and Hancock Pass. Chances are there will be a stop in Pitkin for food. Anyone interested let me know

It is definitely one worth doing. I was close to doing Tincup Pass last week but unfortunately snow was covering the top of the Pass. I actually had to hike 300 yards to get to the top. The West side was open all the way. Cumberland Pass is easy, just scenic. Hancock Pass is supposed to be a little difficult like Tincup but still scenic. Definitely a cool place to run

For those that are interested and have a high chance of joining, who all has radios of sorts? Of so what type are they? FRS, GMRS, CB or others? If non might be a good idea to get a basic set of FRS type radios. I need to get some myself and most likely have a previous co worker joining.

Small edit here: I just ordered muself a GMRS Radio. Thankfully it will communicate with FRS so if thats what you have or only just want FRS that works for me.

My plan is a day trip. If you wish to camp somewhere that is up to you.

As for the radios it would be a good idea to bring them. I just ordered an MTX275 last night and should see it later this week

Pretty sure it is. If so I'm most likely looking at Sunday. I got to do some things to the Pathfinder and I want to get it done before hand
