Blue Bell ice cream still a real 1/2 gal and one of the only ones we buy now. It's expensive but on sale here pretty regularly so we buy a few then.
dave i knew you were good people. seeing the attachment to blue bell just reinforced it. they opened a smaller distribution spot not far from me. they wouldnt hire me. they were worried i would mess up that "sell all the rest" profit margin.

Our power went out. It's 20 below. Can I build a fire?
No, let your home freeze and head for your designated shelter that is heated with gas.:stop:
Never ask for permission in an emergency, just throw another log on the fire and grab the popcorn while waiting for looters.?

Yeah everyone knows cow farts are causing global warming. Say hello to synthetic meat soon! Thanks Bill Gates. Of course he'll continue to enjoy prime steaks though.

I know up in The NE a good amount of electricity is made from gas fired plants.
They don't care. US CO2 emissions have gone down because the country shifted electricity production from coal to natural gas, which is much cleaner burning.

The whole point of "climate change" or "global warming" is to force you to live the way they want everyone to live. The elites will exempt themselves of course. Instead of outlawing stuff you just make it so expensive only the wealthy can get it, denying the masses for the good of the planet.

It also allows "a certain party" to eliminate things they hate like "big oil" an "meat". Vegetarians are all for this. They hate suburbs too an forcing everyone into cities will make use of public transportation standard an this gets everyone is 600 sq ft apartments like NYC. You use much less electricity in a 600 sf home than a 1500.

I can't believe they are trying to ban my gas cooking stove and wood stove. Next will be charcoal and gas grills along with smokers. This is one battle that I will fight to the end if implemented.
Just ridiculous.

I remember grain alcohol parties being really big growing up. We'd all chip in get a bottle and a bunch of different punches and mix up a few big bowls. It didn't take much to get you wasted and (like you said) a killer headache the next day!
Jungle juice.

Where are some of you finding your info? The only thing I can find as their reasoning, is due to indoor pollution causing respiratory issues, like asthma in children. I see nothing about outdoor issues, or any climate change related reasoning. I personally think they should just put a warning on them and let the consumer make their own decisions. There are bigger fish to fry than this.
Fry, FRY, don't you know that frying generates Heterocyclic amines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Not to mention the saturated and trans fats, depending on what you fry in, frying meat over a gas ring is almost the perfect storm.

I have my February wood moved up to keep us warm

And if anything should be banned for brain damage it's this stuff
1000000192.jpg

One small glass and the next morning one heck of a headache :whew:. Glad I grew up when I did,
MY god where do you live Antarctica? That much wood would last me two winters! + 1 for living in the subtropics.

That would be line dancing in Texas! And a Ranger5G BBQ would be a pretty fun thing!

We could have all kinds of games:
  • Guess the Rangers with dampers
  • Greased Rangers (aka, slickest graphene)
  • Load/Unload dump contest
  • Guess who parked this

So many fun things! Woohoo!
And after a few drinks - "Watch This"

That’s what they’re talking about shutting down. Good luck with that! I know up in The NE a good amount of electricity is made from gas fired plants. That was the big investment in energy production up her to get off coal and oil. Now they don’t want more pipe lines and the demand skyrocketed because of the dependence of the electric production! Thing is, in the US we’re sitting on a 200 year supply of natural gas alone.

Follow the money. That’s what this is all about.

Yes sadly 30 years ago the experts said that Australia had enough coal to last at least 300 yeas even accounting for the massive amount we export. Somehow 300 years has been compressed into 30 from a completely unsuspected direction. Looks like about 200 years worth might be going to stay in the ground. Mind you I don't think many of our farmers would be sorry to see the end of mining, and fracking if the market for LNG drops out. It's caused a lot of damage to prime agricultural land that no one wants to talk about.

Nuts!
This summer, didn't 800 private planes land in Egypt for
some worldly event? If anything, they should start outlawing these luxury private planes/boats.
A waste of resource I tell ya!
Like @Trigganometry said.
