The Diamondback cover after 6 months

Looking back, I don't think I'd have bought one. I find myself in the bed all the time and honestly its a PITA.
That middle bar makes using the bed impossible, I understand that's the design. GF wanted to haul a mattress and I would have had to remove the whole thing. Not impossible just something I don't want to do every time I haul something.
Should have found a nice hard cover tri flip that's a lot easier to remove. I think I'm going to start looking for something else and put this one up for sale.

Function and build is top self with the DB, and no one is getting in the bed without a crowbar.
Just an observation, might work better for some. me, not so much.

I understand the concerns with the middle bar. I just put a new-to-me Diamondback SE on this past weekend and absolutely love it (granted after only 5 days ?) and it is a nice upgrade from a soft tri-fold. Construction, as you said, really is top notch and the security is strong. I don’t haul a ton of large items so I am ok with removing as needed, the process is simple enough.

No matter what cover you had, if you hauled it upright, removal is 4 bolts vs 2? I got lucky and was able to pick mine up from a member here who left the Ranger family. If you do sell it, I can imagine someone here will have interest as I did.

I've always moved a mattress by putting it on top of the closed cover. Would that not work with the Diamondback?

Just throw on top of bed and use universal tie down points

We folded a queen size mattress in half with ratchet straps, then secured it for the ride to the dump. Minimum dump fee here is $25.00. So load up for for your moneys worth
