I have a 2020 Lariat and the only electronic issue I've had was the front and rear sensors going off for no reason whille driving. It only happened a couple times when it was below freezing. I didn't see anything on the sensors when I looked at them. ?‍♂

I've had no other issues (knock on wood sound) ?

I don't think that is really an issue, more of a known thing when they freeze - I've seen the same thing on my Ranger and also our C-Max. It can also happen if they get too dirty.

I also have a 2019 Lariat, bought early 2019, and only because I had no idea what various 'tech' options even meant, let alone if I wanted them!
Because, after the salesman explained all the options; in exasperation, I said, OK give me one of those, in that color, with everything. That got me a Lariat.
Years later, I probably don't use many of the options every day, but I do like that I can.
I do think my truck is a bit too fancy for a pickup, with all it's fancy options, but I've learned to live with it. I like it. :)

You know, my mirror crash camera has also given me warnings in the winter. On the handful of times that I got out and looked at the cam for ice or slush, it was clear.

But as I read your post, on a beautiful New England summer afternoon, it got me to wondering why we'd get warnings but then see nothing.

I wonder if just some snow blowing up past the sensor is enough to trigger that warning?

If it's supposed to "see" and react to a kid running out, then the momentary blinding by some highly reflective snow might also block it for long enough to throw that warning.

So far.... my 2021 with that Ford Copilot 360 package has given me no trouble at all. Bought in June 2021, have 57k on it. I had to buy my truck from out-of -state because, I ordered from my local dealer in January...by the middle of June it had finally been built, but was sitting on some rail yard lot in Woodhaven MI, with NO IDEA from the dealer when I would get it. I finally gave up and found this one on the Internet, and it had that package. Wouldn't have ordered it initially, but, I must say I like the additional features very much.

I have a 2019 XLT FX4. Only issues I,ve had was the message that I should start the truck to save the battery but I use a battery maintainer and it solves the issue. The other minor issue is one of the USB's with music doesn't work when it's cold but then does when the interior is warmed up. I really like the truck but it does attract mice so I have d-con bait stations in the truck which seem to help.

I have a cat and what the cat does when it catches a mouse - I find myself feeling pity for the mouse , but I'm now in Grand Junction where prey for the cat is scare, when I lived in Pagosa Springs there was no shortage of prey and dozens of mice were dispatched.

As far as the OP question - everything has been near perfect and disconnecting the BMS made an exceptional truck even better.
