Tail light wiring identification

Hi guys...anyone out there can help me identify which wire are brake and turn? I'm looking to tap into the correct lines to power my chase light which has both functions...the harness in the bottom pic is of the driver side but I also need to know which wire on the passenger side for right turn...thanks in advance

What chase light is that? Also did you find out the right wire for the turn as I see the two different outputs like you noted above.

How did you splice in for the chase light? I was thinking about just a t splice on the parking light wire but wasn't sure how that would handle weather and water

I would never use a T-splice on anything exterior. I spliced into mine using heat shrink butt connectors with 1 line in, 2 lines out. I don't recommend this on watt intensive items (like off road lights), but for low wattage stuff like running lights, brake lights, signals I see no issue.

Heat shrink butt connectors are my usual method on exterior but I wasn't sure if I could fit 2 wires into one side. I did find some step down butt connectors after some googling that would work.

What did you figure out on this? mid the out line just the bulb failure detection circuit?

Itried to wire in circuits to use the ranger’s tail lights like trailer lights when I’m flat towing the ranger behind my big truck. I followed the wiring identification the guy on etrailer video used for same harness on a 2021. When we hit the left turn signal in the towing vehicle, the center mount high stoplight on my cap flashes with the tail light. Etrailer guy didn’t actually splice into the amber turn signal, rather looks as thiugh

Ok I found your build thread and pages 11-12 that you talk about the LED lights and that you put a 1"x1"x23" aluminum extrusion that you put the lights on. But what lights are they?

Did I forget to list that? It's the same LED I used for the front grill except in red...here you go...
