Final look when it’s all done. Going to do some manipulating of license plate. Will take pics and update later.

I'll post later, but i think you reverse the license plate bracket upside down. When I go on road trips I'll take it off so I can use the ACC

It’s easy - if you don’t have ACC, flip your plate bracket upside down, drill holes in the non-bolted tabs that are now on the “bottom”, drill through the horizontal surface of the bumper skin they are now resting on, fix them in place with trim panel push pins like the ones holding your wheel well trim pieces in place. You can also relocate your ACC - there are threads on ranger5g that cover how to do that.

I haven’t done this but I had my plate bracket off when I swapped out my Raptor-style grille. I was playing around with lowering the bracket and determined this was the best way to do it - it can be done without drilling and fastening the tabs that don’t bolt on but it would be best to fasten them.

If you remove your bracket (2 bolts) and flip it, the procedure will become clear. You just have to have the nerve to drill into the bumper skin. It’s on the horizontal surface but it’s still a bit scary to do.

Got the bar attached, ran wires, added some red tow hooks. Flipped the license plate bracket. It get to the screws I cut out some of the inside of the bracket to get my hands through. Used some Velcro strips to help get low bracket to hold to the bumper without drilling into such. Also wrapped edge of license plate bracket with some soft rubber edging so it won’t bang the bumper or make a clanking sound. Bar hopefully coming soon. If anyone does this project and needs help. Hollar.
