Since moving out here to AZ I don't put on as many miles as I did back in MA. Everything here is so close where back east I lived up in a hill town and had to drive farther for stuff. With that said I average about 8,000 miles/year.

My Ranger is my daily driver. I put about 21k on a year.
In contrast, my wife's daily racks up about 8-9k a year.

I still have my Mountaineer and use it for weekend errands (which involves parking lots & shopping carts, oh no!) and running back and forth to the farm to take care of my horses (only 700' from my house). Saves me tracking dirty boots, pieces of hay and pine shavings into the Ranger.
Now that I think about it, I've only put 1500 miles on the Mountaineer since October 2021 annual state inspection.
I love driving the Ranger and find myself taking the long way home from work just to drive it.

I report my mileage to my insurance company about every 6 months to keep my discount for low mileage on my vehicles. The last report includes some COVID time but for the 13 months from November 2020 to end of December 2021: the Jeep had 1,772 miles, the Highlander had 1,062 miles and the Ranger had 2,323 miles for a total of 5,157 miles on all vehicles.
I am a widower now and retired so the mileage on the vehicles is low.
