It has been an adjustment but a welcomed one. Since I don't sit in the back seat ... 😂
Thats funny right there. I just miss the vast expanse of space my F150 had. It does feel like driving a toy, which is cool. Miata of trucks.

Ford does a great job of making the rear seats in the F Series very spacious. I do miss that part of my '04 diesel among other things. The nimbleness of the Ranger is so much fun, though.

I just clicked on the link and logged into my account and the price is $508.50. I'm not paying that for a TBC. I can apply the brakes myself for much less than that.
Haven't checked recently but I believe Levittown has it for around half that price.

The Tekonsha is a great controller, had one in my 2011 Ranger. The problem I had with putting it in my 5G Ranger, is where to put it, that it is not in the way, or a knee knocker.

That's why I Went with the Redarc unit. Ford did not have their kit available when I needed a controller for my 2019 XLT. I found the Redarc controller and liked how it was rather minimalist footprint, and mounted it in place the left 12 volt outlet. Works great with my 4K TT. I don't have ACC and stay extra attentive while towing, like you mentioned.
I had a 2011 Ranger (4.0) too and loved it (trouble free)...how did you like yours? Around 41K when I traded it in on the 5g.

Loved it too. Never saw the dealer after I bought it. Had the 4.0 with the 5 speed manual. Only reason I traded it was towing my TT. I bought it used with. 470 miles on it, had about the same as you when traded.

Nice. I bought my 2011 Ford certified with 12K on it. It had the 5 speed automatic and shifted as smooth as butter...it might have been a great tranny for the 5g's considering all the issues that are occurring with them.
