Just wanted to post a down and dirty list to document what I've done to my 2023 Lariat Tremor. Maybe it will help someone that is looking for ideas of what they can do to mod their own Ranger. I am open to any suggestions of must do mods that I haven't done yet, or also let me know if i did something stupid that was a waste of money. So let me know what you think. Thanks Guys

Picked up my bone stock 2023 Lariat Tremor on 02/25/2023.

List of installed Mods:
  • DeeZee Tailgate Assist(had to be the first mod!) - From Amazon
  • Peragon Retractable Tonneau Cover LimitedHD Edition - From Peragon
    PXL_20230314_012238448.jpg
  • Cilajet Ceramic Exterior coating, and interior fabric protectant - Installed by dealer
  • McGard Black Cone Seat M12 x 1.5 with security lug - From Amazon (Before on top and After on bottom)
    PXL_20230301_222115545-COLLAGE.jpg
  • Velossa Tech Big Mouth Ram Air Kit Black/Black - From Velossa Tech
  • K&N Cold Air Intake Kit (Caught it on sale for $350, thats $50 off) - From knfilters.com
  • PXL_20230312_204800688.jpg
    PXL_20230312_220947937.jpg
  • FORScan Changed
    • Disabled Auto Stop/Start
    • Removed Double Honk
    • Raptor Splash Screen
Planned mods for semi near future:
  • Line-X spray in bedliner
  • Bed lighting (Thinking on going with an LED strip light kit, because I don't want to have to drill holes for the Lumen TouchLink kit)
  • Window tint for front windows (want to stay legal in Illinois, so i think it is 50% for front)
  • Thinking about an aftermarket muffler. I really like the sound from of the Flowmaster Super 10 with resonator removed. Like Boost Too did to his girlfriends Ranger Here (dont want it to be loud, but i want it to have a little bit of a throaty low growl)

Some random photos:

After CilaJet application

Looks great Brendan! You already did the best mod and added it first on the list. :inlove: If you haven't already you should think about adding a tune. It's really the second best mod you can do to these trucks.

BTW...Welcome to the club! ??

Thanks man! This is my 3rd Ranger, but 1st 5th Gen. My first vehicle at 16 was a '92 4.0 V6 single cab long bed, and then upgraded to a '97 super cab 3.0 I4 a year later.

Dont need a tune since i have the damper! It adds like 100hp!

I thought about a tune, eventually. I dont really "need" the extra power right now, but better MPG would be nice. Is it worth having to run higher octane gas?

This is my first Ranger. I always had F150's and really love this truck much more than those.

I really didn't "need" a tune either but after reading all the reviews here I decided to get one.vIt really does make a huge difference not just in power but the smoothness of the transmission too. It takes away the top gear lugging and most of the lower harsh shifts.

With the Livernois tunes (you get 5) you can run either 87-89 soft shift or performance, 91-93 soft shift or performance or the tow tune. The tow tune you can run any octane and it'll adjust. I run the 91-93 performance and feel it does run a lot better on premium. Others have said the 87-89 makes a huge difference too.
The Unleashed tune is another great tune and several here run that too and love it.

Thanks for that info. I do remember reading quite a few posts here recommending the Livernois tunes when I first joined the forums back when I put my order in at the dealer. I briefly researched them back then, but i will give it another look. Thanks again for the suggestion Dave!
