No interference at all with the Softopper folding operation. However, if you intend to use the Softopper folded, I would highly advise purchasing the tie down rails when you buy the decked system. Once the Decked is installed, you'll have only 5 or 6 inches of bed space left. If you buy it after the fact like I did, you'll get shafted on shipping. If you purchase your accessories when you initially purchase the unit, the company will toss them into the shipping crate at no additional charge.When you had the Softopper over the Decked, did you have to remove the cotter pin to collapse/install the Softopper? Is the decked high enough to interfere with the hinge mechanism on the Softopper?
