Yesterday morning, it was probably 31 degrees and the command didn't send. Yesterday afternoon leaving work it was ~40 and it worked. This morning it was 25 and it worked fine. It's never not worked for me. I'm not sure if yesterday was an oddball or if you could be onto something. FWIW, I'm on iPhone XR w/ iOS 14.2 and the truck has Sync 3.4.20136.

That is about what you can expect from Ford pass. It is operated by a high school class in Detroit. Did you know that when connected to Ford Pass, Ford is monitoring your driving habits. ?

The truck uses an AT&T cellular connection to the FordPass app so if AT&T reception is spotty in an area, FordPass will also be spotty.

If I park my truck in a certain part of my driveway the FordPass app won't work.

Mine did the same, but it was never below 45°. Seems to be working fine now.

It doesn't matter where you stand. The command goes from your phone through your network, across the internet, to a server a Ford, then another command goes from the server at Ford through some series of networks to at&t, then via cellular to the truck. (This is why I don't count the app as a backup mechanism for opening the truck.)

I had trouble with mine this morning too.
It said something like 'try again later'.
I don't think it had anything to do with it being cold (25).
I think the Ford server was on the fritz.....AGAIN.
Just my opinion, and experience with the APP.

I had problems on Monday and contacted support. There was an issue with the app of the backend server. They said it was partially working until last night and it is supposedly fixed. Now the issue is that some are reporting excessive battery drain on the phone from the app. I think there maybe a new version of the app or coming soon to fix.

Mine also didn't work this morning ,also didn't work on my wife's escape.

Used it a few times last winter, and I did it last night to make sure it still worked after my iOS update. Never had any issues.

Has nothing to do with temperature, as others have stated.

This is still the by far the fastest & most reliable for locking/ unlocking/ starting and checking vehicle status. (IMO)
