This was on the Ford Edge Forum

Everyone her is going to be getting a letter from Ford this week to bring your truck in to have the APIM reprogrammed. This is called Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47.

So, they are addressing the various issues some are having with the Sync System - I am assuming this may only apply to owners who are unable to install / update to the current version of 23188.
As, if I understand the letter, the dealer will do this for you via FDRS

I could be wrong, but it states Sync Software, and that is what we update via USB as owner DIY.

However - If this (Wording) of the letter is actually updating the APIM software, then they are updating the As-Built files, which if we had the files, they are changing we could do it ourselves via Forscan.

We shall see

It could also be the APIM firmware that would require the dealer to flash it.
