I got the Premium Line X spray-in bedliner today. Paid $658 with tax. It only took 1.5 hours.

Only screw up was that they sprayed shut the holes for adding bull rings. If I decide to add them down the road they will cut open and install them for free.

Nice! Mine will be sent over to Line X when it arrives at the dealership. Told me that it only takes a one day to get it sprayed in, so another small delay in getting the truck.

Decide now if you want the bull ring holes covered or uncovered when it’s sprayed.

Also they didn’t ask me if I wanted the tie down hooks sprayed or not. In hindsight I appreciate that I can now remove them and not destroy the bedliner.

They sprayed over mine too and the hooks. They did ask me about the hooks and I said yes. My installer puts the Line-X sticker on the opposite side of the window. He asked if he could because he likes to see trucks he has done on the road.

Where are those bull ring holes located, and if they do not spray over the holes, how do they avoid it? I definitely do not want the tie downs sprayed.

There are 2 on each side of the bed. They are plastic and can be popped out and put back in after the spray.

Ford sprays the tie downs at the factory. Our bedliner guy removed them on the first Ranger he did and it destroyed the bolts, so he had to replace all of the bolts.

On the F150, the bolts are easy to remove. The first Super Duty he did also destroyed the bolts while trying to remove them. Soon after, our service department received a notification from Ford stating that removal of the tie down bolts would void the factory warranty. Since the Ranger bolts get destroyed the same way as the Super Duty bolts, we are thinking that the Ranger tie downs are designed with similar load ratings (based on the truck's load ratings), and that removal of those bolts may negatively impact the rating, unlike on the F150.

Our bedliner guy is now either just spraying over them or masking them per customer request. I'm thinking of having mine sprayed on the Ranger as extra protection, as I've nicked the finish here and there in 8 years of use on my F250, probably more from hauling landscape stone more than anything, but also from some of my older rachet strap hooks coatings wearing down to bare metal.

Got my Line-X done today. I removed all the tie downs and plugs before hand. Including the two large plastic ones at the front of the bed. They “corked” the threaded holes before spraying. I Had no issues with removing or damaging the tie down bolts at all. Just used a standard ratchet.

I'm planning to get the Line X spray in soon. Anyone has done it and willing to post pictures of their Ranger with it done? Going to install the Bakflsip F1 on it afterwards.

Just got mine back from Line-x. I’m happy with it, $570 here. Definitely on the expensive side.

I really appreciate the information and pics. My estimate was $619 out the door, but I would have never known or thought about the bull ring/tie down issues and you never know what a dealer my tell you.

Here is my spray in bed liner. The dealer had it installed by a local installer. I took off all the tie down hooks and inserts to make sure they didn’t spray them in place. I like the results after reinstalling everything. Not the best pics but everyone likes visual stimulation....
