I use sport about half the time when driving around town.

It gives plenty of responsiveness in most scenarios. The one area that it doesn’t do much is off-the-line acceleration. If I’m trying to merge from a standstill into a moving lane of traffic, this engine really takes forever to wake up.

I have been 100% Sport mode since the last oil change , 2000 miles or so ... went from 19.9 mpg to 19.7 mpg , check oil the other day and zero increase on the dipstick and for the first time since ive had it , NO FUEL SMELL ! All my hard shifts and especially the "did somebody just hit me in the rear?" clunk when coming to a stop are all gone , i will NEVER use D again under ANY circumstances... there is a few spots when cruising at 30 or 40 that it hangs a little on the rpms but slight throttle will make it shift ... takes a little getting used to finding reverse though , one more click to get there...

I am of the opinion that engine lug contributes to the fuel in oil , how is yours on that front ? i assume you check and smell like all of us here have been trained to do ?
I don't smell any gas in my oil. One time I really sniffed it too. I have the Blackstone sample bottles for my next oil change to see where I stand.

Im gonna assume yours will come back at 0 % , as mine will now because of my "Sport mode fix" for the ""fuel in oil"" problem that has been there from the beginning ... Hell , it may be a TSB from Ford one day and id like the credit ...(if yours does come back all fuelly , could you convincingly lie about it so i look good ? )

Who regularly uses sport mode? I'm getting to where I use it more and more cause the truck is so much more responsive.
I like my LM tow tune using 91 and tow haul mode. but when I want to drive like an ahole I drop it into sport and give it the Ferrari tune up 💪
