Yes definitely...hope your order didn't get lost...
My order is a sh*t show. Shipped on Nov 26 or so. Got a call from the freight company that set a delivery appt for Dec 11 from 1 to 5 pm. Called to confirm that on the morning of the 11th. They then claim they never received it on their dock. So now I'm out $700 and nobody knows where my sliders are. Shrockworks has indicated they will ship another set if these don't surface but at best that would be week of Dec 30. The losing of the freight is not a Shrockworks issue but I'm more than mildly irritated regardless.

Not surprised actually. I owned a freight company for 30 years prior to retirement. I totally get that things get lost but the way the freight company has handled it (or not handled it) has been pathetic. Lack of customer service has become far more prevalent in the freight industry in recent years. Mark @ Shrockworks has been extremely supportive and responsive to date. They had to fabricate another set to ship and hope beyond hope that the originals would show up somewhere.

Has anyone taken any detailed pictures of the mounting points yet? I'm struggling with the instructions and I'm a very visual person. Haven't quite asked for professional help yet and I'm trying to avoid that since I do like working on my own vehicles when I can.

In particular I'm curious about the harness on the front of the driver's side frame rail. It seems the mounting location for the plate interferes with with the harness.

I didn't take pictures but I can try to grab some, the plate slides in behind the harness, ends up not touching any wires

Its been a while since I installed mine, purchased mine with one of the first production batches. From what I remember I had to angle it at a 45 degree angle and slide it behind the harness to get it in place. Did not need to remove or unplug any harnesses to get it in place.

Fwiw, I did the install by myself with my floor jack supporting each slider in place and remembered it being a straightforward install without any complications, so I wouldn't try to overthink or overcomplicate it. Here's some pictures.

Hope this helps!

Those are great pictures! :like: Thank you! I was definitely overthinking it. I have the same setup with the floor jack supporting the middle. I was just frustrated because it was supposed to NOT start raining but of course it's the Seattle area and it's December so... YEAH. Thanks for the detail, that's exactly what I was hoping to see. I imagined that's how it was supposed to mount, I was just having a bad day.

I've called and emailed a few times, always with a quick response. Mine took longer because I did not want the steps.
According the freight tracking info, they should arrive on the 31st. Weight is listed at 210# on the shipping documents.

Has anyone thought about using them as air tanks? If they look well sealed, I think I am going to drill and tap them for a 3/8" IPS fitting before I install them.

Thatā€™s a pretty cool idea that I hadn't thought about. Please let us know how this works out, I may very well follow suit.

I like that...have you calculated how much air they can hold?
