I dunno, everytime I record video it picks up the slighest wind or ambient noise. Usually when I edit the video I cut the sound, I just forget sometimes lol

Kind of going with the "Factory" theme for the garage I think. I hate tossing scrap wood if I can find a use for it. Found some industrial warning stripe tape on Amazon and I think it came out good.

I think all the uprights on anything wooden I am going to paint and stripe (so let the shelf legs, workbench legs, etc etc). I believe I am going to lay down a 2" concrete slab under the truck with a drain hole to run off behind the garage.

The LED strips are connected to an outlet I can control with ON/OFF remote (they remember their last setting). I just need to make the wiring all pretty and run a new dedicated power cord and tuck everything away on hangs on the joists.

Ignore the uh, tire rub in the picture... something something swap gas reflected off the moon.

So with the price of lumber and the naggin' voice in my head to finish the garage I am probably going to take down the deck I put in last summer so I can re-purpose the wood.

I built it because my ex-wife wanted a deck (it isn't county permitted or up to code I am sure anyhow). I don't use it, I hang out in the garage.

I reached a major milestone today. I finally found a place for an old lazy boy recliner I've had in a spare room collecting dust forever. And yes, I've already almost fallen asleep in it today when taking a break.

In other news I got some more floor work done. I've stil got quite a bit to do, but I can now at least traverse all the way around the truck without having to play hop scotch on exposed joists.

I also caught some gap filler for 75% off for some time down the road when I start sealing the walls and roof up as a stop gap till I can afford insulation panels.

Ok, warning, some redneck engineering ahead. If you do electrical work for a living avert your eyes because this will probably sickitate you.

Also because I already know people are going to be like:

... the window and door to my master bedroom has tinfoil on it because I am a 3rd shift worker. It completely blacks the room out.

Anyhow, I moved my electrical line to the garage and created a quasi "drop line" until... you know, I can do the real thing. I was going to just cut the end of the cord and hardwire it into the porch light circuit (then I would have an indoor on/off switch), but got lazy and said the hell with that.

That said, I had some sketchy wiring to/in my garage until I could do it right. I understand completely.

It takes both time and money to do it right, and when they are in short supply you do what you can with what you have.
