Shocks installing concern, question.

So I replaced my factory shocks today with some Rough Country N3 shocks. My concern is that the metal ring around the top mounting location is pressed up against the trucks mounting bracket. This is me using the required torque specs. I’ve never seen shocks install like this, with that ring being pressed up against the brackets like that before. I haven’t had a chance to test drive it yet, so I can’t confirm anything yet.

Do you guys think this will be an issue?

Nope, proper orientation. Body at the bottom.

From their lift kit instruction, step 12 has you install with a washer, likely to keep that from happening, not sure if the shocks came with the washer, but looks like the lift kit does.
Stick a washer in their and youll be good.

Thank you! Not a bad idea. Mine did not come with a washer or instructions lol.. that’s rough country for ya.
