2022 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 SuperCrew BAP

Picked her up on a trade in July 2022, after my 2020 RAM 1500 started having issues just out of warranty. Decided we really didn't need a half-ton, as I only have a 16ft ski boat to tow around. The dealership let us take the Ranger for the day to see how it handled towing and she did better than the RAM, so here we are!

I'm about 13,000 miles in, so it's time to start planning some much needed mods!

That was the day I brought her home, so didn’t have my plates yet. But yes, WA requires both plates.

Nice. I have the 2021 and got it 13 months old with 13,000 miles. No issues and several extras. Enjoy. I added brake controller, step bars, bed cover, tailgate damper, tailgate lettering and equipment for pulling it behind motorhome. Enjoy.

Nice...If you want a wider more aggressive stance. I bought new rims with a 25 negative offset made my tire width almost 2 in wider and got rid of the feeling of tipping over with the stock rims and tires. I went with Falken Wildpeaks in a 6ply 265/70 17. Rubs a little on sharp turns but I'll fix that soon with a level kit.

Some here on this forum are going to refuse to believe that. After all, the Ranger is the biggest POS ever produced by the worst automotive company in the history of the world. You are clearly mistaken in your Ram beliefs and incorrect with your word choice in your post. Brace yourself for hell and damnation here on the 5G forum!

As for me, congrats on the major upgrade in vehicles!!!!! Great choice! Nice looking Ranger. Looking forward to seeing pics of your mods. Please keep the group here updated. And make no mistake, the folks here will help you spend your money!

GVWR shows 6,050 lbs, Payload 1,440 lbs. Are you curious about that for a specific reason?

Did you mean Ram, not Ranger? My issues with the Ram were wonky trans shifts, AC, Dash and all other electronics would just reboot while driving. And it towed like crap…
