Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Rangerdanger,can you update the list for my truck. According to dealer my VIN is 1FTER1EH9KLA48095 and build date of 5/2 and delivery on 5/19. (ordered 3/19) This sounds quick to me , what do you guys think? Bret

My delivery date just changed today from 5/12 to 5/19. Blend date is still the same at 4/18. Hard to imagine it will take 30 days to go from Michigan to Virginia. The delivery date started with 5/5 and has now slipped twice.

As I found out the hard way, there is a LOT of "sitting and waiting" time in the delivery process. WAY more than you would think if you weren't in the transportation business.

My delivery date changed from 2/24 to 5/1. Gnaw on that awhile, I have.

I think that is a bit optimistic. That may be the fastest ranger yet.

Seems quite optimistic to me too. But maybe they have things working better now? 8 - 10 weeks used to be kind of the standard time to order, right?

It's been 18 years since I special ordered my F-250 so I don't recall. For the record I hope it comes that fast, I just don't want him to get his hopes up.

Absolutely. I hope things have improved, but for reference, my wait was 16 weeks, and it seems like most people here have been in that neighborhood - some a week or two less, some considerably more.

Ha, recently talked to the salesman. He said that my trucks Build Date is April 24th. That's good and bad news. Glad I now know the build date but bad that from listening to what everyone is saying about shipping time frames, I'm not sure that they will be hitting the Est Del date of May 4th or 5th. O well, good to see that my order is progressing and del is not as long as it was in the start. Seems the closer del gets the longer it feels! Hahaha!

Call your salesperson and tell them it was delivered. I always get a kick from my salesman's reaction when I tell him my vehicles are on the lot.
