I think what is more likely that happened was you were scheduled to week 01/14, and now you've got an official build date of 01/18. :like:

I agree but I would go with more of an SUV feel than a truck feel because the height. When I drove the Tacoma and the Colorado It felt like I was driving a slightly smaller truck. The Ranger had a car like but more of a SUV like feel. The hood rounds down so you don't see all of the giant flat hood. The suspension was soft and comfortable. We intentionally went over some large pot holes and while you could feel the dip and the hole it was soft and not jarring. When I drove the F150 you knew you were driving a truck. The suspension is stiff for the heavy payload and it results in a harsher more abrasive ride.

I really liked the ride of the Ranger It seemed exactly what I was looking for. A comfortable daily driver with the ability to tow my boat, get me to the ski resorts in the snow, Ability to camp and sleep in the back, and do some moderate off road driving.

I was joking with my salesman and told him that and he replied true but your new Ranger would fit in a shoe box if it was from Amazon.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I've senna my delivery date jump around a bit. It went back to the original date today, but the other day it was a day later, which I thought was odd. I'm guessing it will still change too.

We all need to pray for good weather when they start shipping. That could easily cause a delay.

Interesting I ordered in September and people who ordered in November have same build week. I wonder in they are building by trim level.

Just got an update from my dealer. VIN 3821 ordered 9/17/2018 build scheduled for 1/15/2019 and a EYA of 1/21/2018. Please note I am about 70 miles from the plant.

Here's this week's update: I never received the "approval" email, but did receive a screenshot of the order from the system showing "approved" status. I did NOT get a VIN or build date. I sent several emails today, and ended up at the dealership speaking with the Sales Manager. He called the Ford representative (again) and explained that I was not very satisfied. I did get a verbal confirmation that my Ranger will be delivered by 2/15/2019.

Based on this week's scheduling cycle for build dates of 2/11, I would probably get a build date of mid-February and a delivery date of mid-March if I were to cancel and go to another dealer. So, I'm just going to ride it out with this dealer.

Probably scheduling based on parts availability schedule. If we had each order's information visible on the main spreadsheet on page 1 of this thread, I'm sure we'd see some correlation. That would be asking way too much to try to collect and keep updated.

Yea exactly, It would be neat to try and figure out the correlation but way to much work to gather and update. It's super cool that @rangerdanger is collection as much as he is. Thank you
