For a 6" lift, it looks like I've got 2 options...

Rough Country 6IN FORD SUSPENSION LIFT KIT (19-20 RANGER 4WD)
https://www.roughcountry.com/ford-suspension-lift-50530.html?find=2019-ford-ranger-4wd-450615
~$1300

vs
BDS - 6" IFS Lift Systems | 2019 Ford Ranger
https://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=3&mo=25&ty=1&yr=2019&kid=1547H
~$2300

I'm not very familiar with lifting trucks.. So, which of these is better? Why is the BDS lift $1000 more? Is it better?

They say the point of the 6" lift is to add bigger wheels/tires.. They say you can goto 35"

I don't want 35's.. but bigger is good.. What wheels / tires should I look at with either of these lifts? 20's ? 20" rims, ??? size tire??

Thanks, just trying to do some research here and make an informed choice...

Really depends on what you want to do once you lift your truck. If its strictly for off-road please dont use 20" rims 18" would be the max imo but 16" would be best. If it's for looks either should be fine and the BDS would be more of a bragging rights kind of thing. The rough country from what I've read is a decent set up for its price. Just remember what you pay is what you get especially when it comes to companies with a big reputation.

Don't look into it too much and just think about what you are trying to accomplish and do with your truck. Bigger isn't always better.
