I'm confused... we have folks from Ohio and Colorado posting here.

Any chance to make a group for the Rocky Mountains (meaning the rocky mountains have to be in your state) and another group for the mid-west?

I lived in Ohio for 40+ years.... and Colorado for 14+ years... there are almost no similarities between the Midwest and the Rockies.....

ps... I love this site! Just wondering if this is something that could be done.

I voiced the same frustration, it would be easier to have GTG in local areas if we had local sections that made sense

Yeah the rockies or essentially the states in the mountain time zone should be on their own.

could even just throw colorado in with the southwest group, as a lot of 4x4 trips kinda surround the 4 corners area and they seem to overlap a bit in that sense. not sure what to do with montana though

also not sure why Hawaii is in the 'southwest' group.

Montana is the Rockies... at least that's what the western half of the state keeps saying and those of us on the eastern are just a part of the Dakotas, but I consider it the Rockies.

Living in western South Dakota I consider myself to be living in the West--part of the Rocky Mountain region. Purists might disagree, but you can't get more western than Deadwood, SD.
