I saw that earlier, he died of pancreatic cancer. Whats scary is they always say they die in 3's and I guess this makes the third. I really never watched Robbie much but I always loved watching Evil Knievel while growing up. We'd go out the next day after watching his jumps on tv and try and jump our bicycles. lol

I remember watching Evel Knievel when I was young and then later, Robbie Knievel. My brother & cousin would line up the old timely metal garbage cans & jump them on their bicycles, pretending to be Evel Knievel.
Sorry for Robbie Knievel’s family. Very sad.

Evel did a car and motorcycle show at our fair when I was young. Him driving around the track on 2 wheels impressed me and Put a thought in my mind that someday I would do that. 10 years later I got my license and that though surfaced. I took my 1964 Chevy around a 20 mph sweep at 60 mph and got up on 2 wheels. Went about a 1/4 mile and then crashed down. 2 seconds later I see flashing lights in the mirror. Didn't realize a Sheriff was behind me. Pulled me over and asked what was wrong with me. I told him that I wanted to do that since watching Evel when I was young. Took my license and registration back to his car. A couple minutes later he returned with a taillight out ticket and said don't ever try that again. I was lucky that he was nice because I had just gotten my license. Was a $6.00 ticket and my first trip to night court. My first ticket.
