On the bright side you get to appreceate how much better the Eibachs are with stock wheels and tires! Great looking truck. What tires and rims are you going with?

Nice choice! The stock Hankooks are so so at best. The only thing I miss about them is the 2.5 mpg loss I got going with Cooper Wild Trek 265/70/17 which are about 6lbs heavier each but much much better and durable tire. The tires and Eibachs are night and day to the stock setup.

Thanks! And ya the hankook are just kinda meh lol they just don’t like to hook up it seems… ya I thought about 265s but I truly wanted 285s but I no longer really need them so I decided to split the difference. Ya coppers always tend to run heavy because of the sidewalls and such great tires just heavy lol

Both rear shocks are on the truck! I also installed my front two intrusion bars! I still gotta do the back ones but ran out of daylight… trying to do the rear shocks by my self and them not having the strap that holds them in the compressed form was a massive pain… for most it might be easy but I’m still not to the full strength of what I use to be since of my accident so doing wrenching without help means I gotta take breaks and meds more often… so sometime this week I’ll install the rear ones and also get my wheels and tires installed hopefully Tuesday-Thursday (discount tire has no openings so I’m gonna have to drop my wheels off and hope they get installed before I go out of town…

Just waiting on wheels and tires to get installed but the truck is now aligned and I forgot I had these cheap cali raised led cubes in the basement from my bed rack years ago so I took them apart repainted the face on them and put a new lens on them. I still need to finish the wiring job I need a male end for the quick disconnect and oddly enough I don’t have one so I’ll need to get one this week

Welp got the bds rear intrusion bars in and may have broken a tab or two on my factory flares… cheap thin plastic… thankfully I want new flares to cover the poke on my wheels and tries! But also wheels and tires are on! I do have a slight vibration at 70mph for some reason so unsure if it’s because of poor balance or if it’s because I don’t have hub rings? I’ve never had to run hub rings before on a 6 lug truck because the center them selves so anyone have input on that?

Can't offer any technical insight as I don't have any but really like the blue methods. Perhaps some matching blue tailgate letters, hmm? ;)

I would put money on the balance. Did they put weights on the barrel just inside the spokes AND weights on the lip? If not, you got a static balance, which will never be as good. I'd have them rebalanced before you start looking at hub rings. I have NEVER found hub rings to be necessary. As long as you use the right lug nuts for the wheels, and the correct mounting procedure, they should center up just fine.

ya thats my thought as well and tbh im gonna get the ball weights where its always balanced. you know where they put them into the tire? cant remember what its called lol

agreed ive never needed hub rings besides on cars with odd lug patterns but never on a truck so figured id ask
