Drove down to MX today and the Ranger is getting even better mileage all the time. ACC was set to 75 mph the whole way.

Rangerdanger, your city mpg is about the same as mine.
most of my daily trips are 4 miles and a lot of stop and go.
I average around town 15.5 to 16.1 on a 100 mile trip i have seen 26.5 mpg. Xl Super Cab 4x4. 6,500 miles

Good morning all! So I have had my Ranger for about 2 weeks. Its a 2020 XLT FX4.

I am very impressed with the truck so far. Im really enjoying the fuel mileage but I also have a 2013 Jeep Wranger outfitted for overland travel so its heavy and the fuel mileage is a fairly bad.

Average tank mpg currently is 22.9 mpg on "Trip 1"
Average MPG since I purchased the truck is 23.3mpg on "Trip 2"

Last weekend I went out camping and I drove a couple hours on the interstate, then the rest of the weekend I was on the trails. I was getting about 27.6mpg on the interstate then after a fill up and more trails I was getting 31mpg. I know the 31mpg probably wasn't very accurate but I was pleased. That was before I got on the interstate to head home but that averaged out to 28 or so mpg for the 3.5 hour drive home.

Picked my STX SuperCab up at the dealer yesterday with 3 miles on the odo. Drove 180 miles to Myrtle Beach, and put her in the garage. Best was 26.1 mpgs with the last 30some miles running right at 70 mph in the rain, and the truck compooter says we up ended up at 25.8. Not bad for an engine that's not even broken in yet.

Do a hand calculation after the first few tanks, they've been know to be off. If it is just follow the directions in the link, it may take several tanks to get an accurate reading. Mine was off between 1.25 -1.75 mpg and after doing this it's now close at .2 now.

Larry, as "The Dave" said, it's to late. I was weak, and the force was just too strong. :)
