Wife's Explorer has the auto-fold mirrors, and I'd gotten used to using them as a way to tell whether it's locked or not. With the Ranger, I constantly see my mirrors sticking out (because I forget about that little button that's hidden by the steering wheel) and keep thinking it's unlocked. This seems like a cheap mod to save my sanity!
