That sounds like a terrible idea. What time do we start?maybe time to pull out the big guns lol so close to my goals![]()

That is interesting, I did feel that it was electronic the lag we feel. In baja mode the truck sure feels more awake but obviously that is only on dirt due to the 4wd being activated at the same time. The “lag” in the stock truck is not turbo lag at all. In fact the stock turbo is so hyper we have to pay close attention when tuning them to keep the torque level down low. I have a 57mm wheel in mine and there is very little lag at all. It does have a very different power curve though.
You have Baja mode?So would a 50hp shot of nitrous from a wet kit be a good way to keep the valves clean? Asking for a friend lol jkjk I was actually there this morning, truck back. Maybe you have seen it there. Hopefully I get it back tomorrow, they did not have a loaner.

I have been tempted to try those pedal commander units but was not sure if they were a gimmick. I hate all these drive by wire features sometimes, they made cars safer but so numb feeling in these non-performance vehicles.
That sure sounded and looked like wheel spin haha. Sorry I meant Sand mode, too many Ranger Raptor videos for me I think. So man, I guess I am just being paranoid about installing the Ford tune at the very least. All my worries and sure enough a rod bearing took a dump on me but there is no way I go through two motors lol.You have Baja mode?
Pedal commanders cause problems often and sometimes create dangerous situations. We had a guy in my facebook ranger group that had all kinds of problems and I suggested he bypass his commander…. Fixed.
At 392hp to the wheels my truck is very far from numb feeling for sure!
lol nice no I don’t need waterYou need water to do that?
They're not a gimmick. I believe the Raptor has the throttle response tuned differently than the other Rangers. It's an oft cited difference.I have been tempted to try those pedal commander units but was not sure if they were a gimmick
I have the same device and I use “adapt”. Huge difference. If you think it does nothing, change the profile while maintaining a steady speed. If you lower the number, the truck will lose speed even though you haven’t moved your throttle. They're not a gimmick. The key I'd say is get something that's customizable and that you can remove or revert to a 'stock' profile if necessary.
There's a lot of auto theft here, especially about a year ago when I bought the truck. I bought the ultimate 9 pedal commander/tuner whatever we're calling them so I could lock the throttle as an anti theft measure.
I didn't really think, realize, or put any stock in the rest of the pedal tuning stuff till I tried it. It makes such a difference I prefer it. I don't like the regular configuration anymore.
It livens up the whole truck. It feels like installing a tune without actually changing anything but how the throttle responds to the pedal.
I drive around at a 5 out of 1-9 and that's plenty for me. In the snow the anti slip profile is useful. There's a launch profile for you guys with the big turbos. The right device might be worth a look![]()
That’s a solid high to mid 12’s truck as soon as you get that 60’ below 2 seconds!!New tune revision is working good Thank you Adam @ Revolution Auto
getting closer to that 12 second goal on street tires
