Also keep in mind.... when you shift to Sport Mode, do on touch with +/- buttons on the shifter so the tranny will stay in auto shift. If you push the +/- buttons, you will then need to manually shift the tranny with the buttons. Your choice though..... ENJOY IT ?
Yep rarely shift it. Just put it in sport and put the hammer down.

Most likely the Tremor's 32" tires are making the difference.
Larger diameter and heavier tires don't help.
Truck itself probably weights a little more also.
I meant in comparison to the other two Tremor reviews. That review was significantly slower than the other two 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

When I first test drove my 2019 Lariat I did it just for shit and giggles because it was a 4 cylinder and I planned on laughing at the salesman on my return. Instead I smiled from ear to ear all the way back to the dealership and bought it. No remorse here! Love this truck more than any other one I've owned. ? BTW you may want to find a junked 2019 Lariat and grab a few items Ford decided to leave off your 2022 to save money. There are threads here to see what you are missing.
Thank you, appreciate the info!

gene is your ranger 4x4? if so take that thing out on some trails or off road park. you will come home loving it and never think twice on remorse.
It is and I smoked the tires in my new found sport mode today. Everyone here should get paid by Ford for a great job with marketing? 4 wheeling is next. Thank!

I'm very happy with my Ranger.

I'd go with the Ford Performance tune if you want zero warranty issues, or the Livernois Motorsports tune if you are willing to take some risk with the warranty.

How dare you go posting facts and crush all the dreams of how a Ranger is faster than a big heavy truck. I had to like the post, it wasn't getting much love.

Problem when people post up how they won a street race from a traffic light…… chances are the other guy wasn't racing.

Hi Joe,

Yep...facts posted...but....... Where and how and what was the intent.... Being Top Dog... I am suspect of such "data".... Show me a Ranger head to head to a RAM under exact same test conditions. The RAMS were trying to race me and I could not care less except that the Ranger was faster.... My complaint on Ranger is that there is too much "fun to drive" as the pedal is hard for me to modulate... Oh well...

Best,
Phil

Yeah you can watch TFL race all sorts of trucks against each other. Ranger beats all the other midsize trucks but once it gets against the full-size, it loses. Here it is getting beat by the 3.5 F150.

Quoted wrong person? I promise I’ve found the gas pedal and sport mode. Continually impressed with the Ranger’s ability to get up and go!

If gas prices weren't so outrageous, I’d get the Ford premium tune too.
I did reply to wrong post. My bad

I bought a 2020 site unseen, sort of. I researched what I wanted, tried to buy one locally and they sort of did a bait and switch on a model I didn't really want, so glad I didn't buy it, then I found a loaded lariat 3 hours away. It had more stuff than I wanted, but looking back I'm glad I bought it, and couldn't be happier.

Are there things I would change. Sure. But, all in all, I'm still pleased 1 year into it.

Remorse... Uhmmm, sorta of, in a semi-complicated way. I came from a 2005 Ranger Extended can FX4. Very modest sized vehicle... perfect for what I needed. Fast forward 15 years and finally bored with it (only 44K miles on it at this point, BTW) and want something new. Go test drive the new 2019 Ranger... SuperCrew cab... Sold... as there really no other US made small pickup anymore and it was NICE... but freaking BIG. Might as well have been a F150.

Now the Maverick is here.... ahhh, perfect size. Now I'm sorry I couldnt' wait for the Maverick... even though I do really like the Ranger... it's just too big (and high... tailgate).
