Drove on the sand using the Sand terrain mode. Drives very nicely. A Tundra got stuck just ahead of me on soft sand. The Ranger had zero issues at the same spot.

Did you air down your tires before heading into the sand? Or go with normal pressure?

My truck playing around on Daytona Beach a bit! Got lucky and didn't have to pay for beach entrance, and the beach was open for driving from Speedway Blvd (just south of the pier) all the way south until the beach ended, so we got to drive on a good bit of the beach! Tried out sand mode as a few spots got to be very loose/soft sand, as well as they put us right down along the water in a few spots, but it was a lot of fun!

Quick video of a small spot driving the Ranger out on the beach! And a big thanks to my wife jumping out and grabbing some of the pictures and a video for me! Sand was definitely a bit noisy here, but nothing too technical, just a quick shot! You can see in the early parts Actually bouncing around a bit more, and where I started there, the sand was a lot looser, but was much better packed closer to where my wife was filming at.

Looks good at @KnightRanger I have a surfing permit for Gilgo been going out there for years in my old truck a 6.2 Raptor with 35's lol no problem there but I have yet to take the Ranger out there. Maybe this weekend. What did you air down to? Did you use the sand terrian mode or trail control at all or just 4 high? I have yet to play around with the tech in this truck

Just two weekends before school starts, we decided to head down to the ocean to do some overnight fishing. I didn’t get pics of crossing the deeper sandy area but my boy was able to get some shots driving through some of the soft dirt areas. I love this trucks!

I always make sure to get my surfing permit before their deadline in March. Anyway, I aired down to 18 pounds, put it in sand terrain mode, sport shifting, locked out the upper gears and I swear it went better than my big truck with 35's. I had no problems it just wanted to keep going more. Love this little truck. Only problem is getting a 9-2 long board on there lol. Later this week when I'm out there again I'll get a pic for this thread

I always forget to take any pictures of the actual off-roading parts when I'm doing them. haha But about a month ago we were heading for a dispersed camping site in the middle of the Superior National Forest (ended up not finding a spot and heading home that day but that's not what this is about). Had the kayaks on the topper, was pulling our off-road teardrop camper, and had all our gear for a long weekend in the middle of nowhere. A few mile section of the forest road was recently redone and since it'd been so dry at the time it was turning to almost a powdery sand. Trailer started getting caught in it and pulling my around in 2WD. I switched over to Sand Mode (FX4), the revs shot up, the gears shot down, and all of a sudden I was driving straight again without a care in the world! Sure, I could've done something similar like that myself by putting it into 4H and manually locking out the higher gears (or putting it in Sport), but traction control response and the ease of just pushing a button and having everything change is really nice! The Terrain Modes are really starting to grow on me and I find myself using them more and more often!
