My ranger came in today, we dropped it off at Hellwig so they can build sway bars and come up with an airbag kit for load leveling/ towing. They will be adding manual quick disconnects front and rear to allow full articulation off-road. I’d guess there will be an increase in flex compared to stock when disconnected.

I’ve heard a few others mention discrepancies with the xlt build and the lack of turn signals/approach lamps on the mirrors despite being listed on the build sheet with fx4 and 302a packages selected. The dealership is looking into it on their end and agreed with me that the consumer end should be accurate as far as what comes on the truck. It will be interesting to see what they come up with..

I am going to fab up some bolt on rock sliders and also a removable bed rail mounted rack to carry surfboards and building materials.

Prototype sway bar. They were surprised there wasn’t one stock. The vague rear end feel is gone, truck feels planted around corners and body roll is decreased dramatically. Definitely needs to have the quick disconnect for off-road. Hellwig mocked up an airbag setup for towing and will borrow the truck again to install soon once the brackets are made. They will be adjustable to accommodate stock and lifted trucks.

@BurgerBlaster Do you know or could you find out it Hellwig is going to make a sway bar for the front ? I know it comes with one, but I remember someone mentioned it was tubing instead of a solid bar. Thanks !!!

They have more accessories planned, they decided to start with the rear because it didn’t even have one. Their bars are tube stock too but thicker wall and bigger diameter.

Ended up picking the the interior fuse box panel to mount the missile switches. Easy to reach, out of knee range, easily removable, and the least scary place to drill some holes. Directly wired to battery for now, I will add a relay later that will be switched by the ignition. 3m double sided taped the fuse panel to the top of the fuse box. Lowe’s sells butt splice crimps with heat shrink around them, highly recommend.

Rigid Ditch lights installed. Made a couple brackets after work. @mntbighker the sway bar completely changes the truck. Should be available soon. They are working on some quick disconnect end links that will also tuck the sway bar up out of the way more. Also in the works are different springs for towing and a slightly stiffer front sway bar.

I'll definitely get both sway bars. I love a truck that can handle curves. Now, for a lowering kit.....oh, the agony

Can I ask how and where on earth you got the wires through the firewall? I mounted my ditch lights and cannot for the life of me get the wires through.
Get a metal coat hanger, straighten it out, bend a small tear drop shape loop on one end, from inside of the truck under the dash, poke the other end of the coat hanger through the main wiring harness rubber grommet and then at an upward angle out into the engine bay. I try to stay near the edge of the grommet so you don’t knick a wire. Thread your wires through the loop on the end of the coat hanger and pull it all through the firewall. The grommet will seal up pretty good around your wires.
