Having the grill guard installed. Bought it from Dana Safety Supply. They are nationwide, with install centers around the country. I am lucky in that I have access to the one in Ft Worth, TX Their client list is a who's who in law enforcement. Including the US Marshals Service, ICE, Secret Service, etc. Pictures to follow.

His has the sensors. You can see the Radar unit and harness in the first pic of the Ranger.

As for how the grill guard works with the Ranger's sensors, looks like the inner two parking sensors are relocated to the lower bar of the guard and do not block the Radar sensor or outer parking sensors at all. Well provided he got the relocation kit and this specific grill guard since it's the only one listed for the Ranger on Ranch Hand's site.

God that is hideous. Was fearful the one you were getting for your Ranger would look like that monstrosity.

That being said, did you consider the Westin and/or Warn options? Those at least have winch capability.

Still more functional than a tailgate damper.

Yup. Comes with the kit. No issues. Ranch hand thought this one out. I need to post a good frontal picture.

No, I did not consider the others. I have no need for a winch. I figure if it is good enough for the Texas DPS and a number of county and local departments, it is good enough for me. Plus, it is built here in TX. Keeps other Texans working ! As for the guard on the other truck, I've no idea what department owns it or, what the vehicle use will be.

Come on now.

I could see a damper adding some function to my truck if my 4 year old nephew was opening my tailgate often.
Only if your nephew is wearing Pampers, while engaging the damper.
