As a last resort, you could remove the parts in the dash that got the coffee spill in them and rinse them in water (disconnected of course). Water will dissolve coffee and other sticky residue from the electronics. Alcohol and solvents don't work on dried coffee or soda spills. I worked in radio repair for Motorola for many years and this worked most of the time. Make sure the parts are completely dried before re-installing. use moderate heat to dry it out.Ok, I was thinking I’d roll the dice on getting a replacement ACM off eBay, but it sounds like it might be worth getting a scanner in case it’s just a fault that needs cleared. Appreciate your input.
