Like Steve said, If you notice any shifting issues, get it looked at under the TSB.

You most likely will be fine. My response might have been a little negative. But im an odd guy who likes the best odds. Grain of salt friend.

I bought a 21 XLT FX4 two years ago for $31k had 13k on it from a ford dealer in MD, I drive it like I stole it, I even changed the oil once, it has been trouble free, lower Rat hose and a Tie Rod end, I am at about 45k now and lovin it, you will too LOL

Welcome to the forum....that's a sweet looking truck !!! All I might add on this subject is that my 2021...65K now...bought brand new..has had only one problem in the time I have owned it....the battery went bad at 37k. Otherwise, it's been a great truck and it works perfectly for my needs. As far as the transmission goes...there DO seem to be some problems there. But so far, and with towing a 4500 pound camper, mine has been fine, but I did purchase the top tier Ford ESP plan. All I could say is to keep up on maintenance and fluids and enjoy that nice ride !!!

I have the same identical truck. I too bought a lease return last year with 15,000 kms on it. The truck was in new condition. I changed the oil, the cabin filter and the air filter and drove it for another 25,000kms to ensure that I was confident in it, and I am. I'm retired and use it for fishing; I drive fast on the highway to get to the gravel roads, drive fast on the gravel roads to get to the lake and drive slow in 4x4 low ( with rear locker) to get that last 1/4km to the boat launch. I do that every second day for spring, summer and fall. In winter, I haul my quad through high mountain passes in -20C to get into ice fishing lakes. The truck has been spectacular and reliable, so now I've started modifying it. Eibach 2.0 shocks front and back with a 1" block in the rear. I'm preparing to put tall skinny pizza cutter tires on it when I change out my snow tires, probably 245/80r17 Toyo AT. It is a fantastic truck, full of good features and has been 100% reliable.

This forum is a fantastic place, full of great advise and great people, but be cautious. Everyone talks about their problems and few people talk about their lack of problems, so sometimes it sounds like there are more problems than there really are. Buy the truck and enjoy it. If something goes wrong, fix it and get on with the fun, you will not be disappointed.

60K on my 2021 Super Cab and only problem so far has been a battery. I know there are some transmission problems out there.... but all I could recommend is do trans fluid/filter changes regularly and go out and enjoy that truck!! I think you will ultimately find it to be a good purchase.

Hi Anthony, I think you found a good truck and to me that seems like low milage and seems to have been well taken care of. I bought my 2020 Ranger with about 70k miles on it from a used dealership I work as a mechanic at. I don’t expect the truck truck was very well maintained, yet no real issues, and I just got done changing all the fluids, which didn’t look to bad at 86,100. I think it’s a great truck and if you looked at the website, car problems .com or similar, I forget it’s name, but that website will scare anyone (including me) away from any car ever made -car complaints.com- maybe that’s it.

I did have my AC belt fly off a few weeks ago. I got a replacement belt and tensioner from the local ford dealership, but since putting the original back in place it’s stayed on again. I put Brake Best Select Pro pads on all 4 turned rotors, and wow what a difference, feels like it changed my whole braking system, so much more pedal to use. I ran SeaFoam in the gas tank and a few ounces to the oil 500 miles prior to my last oil change and Gumout Intake and Turbo cleaner 200 miles prior. Just for maintenance until I can or need to walnut blast the intake valves.
I was able to back myself up to a trailer without help using the reverse camera, which might be in a tow package. To get running lights back on the trailer I had to replace a 25amp block fuse under the fuse box. That was interesting. But I think it’s a great truck and as long as you do oil changes every 5k , filter replacements, and fluid changes it’ll hold up for a long time, turbo, transmission and all. Some type of PCV system catch can or separator would probably be a good investment.
