(FIXED) ----- I don't know how to modify the thread title

Hoping someone else has dealt with this a

Picked up my new Ford Performance Calibration Kit and some red tow hooks today from my dealer.....making good use of 85,000 Ford Pass points ($425 worth if anyone was wondering).

After a headache trying to get my laptop to work and discovering the USB driver wasn’t compatible/installed, I used the desktop.
-Ford Performance account created
-Voucher ID for tune added to account
-plugged in ProCal4 and updated it to current
-plugged ProCal4 into Ranger and copied the stock tune

This is where things went south.
-plugged ProCal4 into PC
-prompt asks “log into Ford Performance?”
-I click yes, or ok
-typed in email, password, and voucher ID again
-prompt reads something like “Err2” and won’t continue further.

ProCal4 is locked, only has the stock tune on it right now, I do not believe the stock tune uploaded to my online account for storage/backup.

Ford Performance is closed until Tuesday, which kills the plans to take the truck out hunting this weekend with a lil more pep.

If you’ve got a fix, I’d LOVE to know it.

Can’t answer about the ProCal, but just wondering how you got 85,000 points?

My wife needed a new Explorer, so I did the only thing that made sense......took her points. Haha

Me too Dillen, my wife got a new Ranger and I got 87,000 points !
Behind every man with over 80,000 FordPass points, there’s an understanding wife that only rolled her eyes at the idea.

I’m good with this.

Ford Performance got everything fixed up. Took a few tries and a new Voucher ID code, but they figured out that there was some sort of software glitch keeping me from connecting to my Ford Performance online account to download the new tune.

As for difference, I've had a programmer/tuner on an old Chevy car that was a waste of money and one on my F250 diesel that made a massive difference. This isn't as impressive as the diesel tune, and I didn't expect it to be, but it is worth the money from what I'm seeing now.

Fuel Mileage over the last 20ish miles is averaging ........ 14 mpg , so I definitely need to quit playing around (I've been playing around...) if I want to know actual mileage. It's kinda fun tho.

Fuel Mileage when I jumped on the highway and checked it at cruising speed was 26.

Bonus........my wife still doesn't really get that I used "her" points to pay $210 of my calibration pack instead of getting her floor mats for her new Explorer.
