Mine has been peeling for over a year now and it started on one side and finally went to the other side, too.
I bought rustoleum black paint and put it over the aluminum and it has not peeled off.

I never wanted to chance the Cab leaking.
Thx for the tip. Maybe I’ll try that first.

I have a 2020 black XLT with 28k on it. Bumper to Bumper expired back in February. I have the same roof rail peeling on both side issue pop up this summer. My dealership is telling me these are not body panels but trim pieces and therefore are not covered under the 5 year aluminum panel warranty. Anyone have any useful ammo to fight back with?

For what its worth I have never had a positive experience with Noller Ford standing behind their product and generally avoid my local dealership whenever possible.

I'm having the same issues with my 2019 Ranger Lariat. It started on the rear driver-side trim and has now started on the front passenger side. I first noticed it this summer and am planning on getting it looked at by the dealership very soon. Such a shame that this is even happening.
