Paint color line in front of windshield camera?

Just washed my 2019 XLT Ranger for the first time. I noticed that there is a body paint colored line that goes across the inside of the windshield in front of the camera. Should that line be there?

Upon further review, I’m thinking it could be for defrosting. I’m not really sure. I’m just surprised I didn’t notice it before.

I noticed it the first day and always assumed it was something to do with the sensor's function...I'm waiting for Dr. Phil to explain...

Pretty sure it's defrost and not body color match. Look at the rear defrost.

Arrrrrrrrrrg! Symmetry, the bane of Engineers against stylists asymmetrical wishes.... Back in the day of Fender mounted Radio antenna, there are those that stated the vehicle should have two...one on each front fender...
