Oil life reset

Did my 3rd oil change. With the first two, the app and truck reset the oil life monitor automatically. On the third, it has not reset. I finally went to the truck menus and reset it. The app, 8 days later, has still not rest. Tire pressure, fuel, mileage all updated at least twice, but oil life has not.

Any ideas?

When I get my oil changed mine usually resets pretty quickly but the app has always been glitchy. If it hasn't reset by now you could try signing out then back in and if that doesn't work delete the app and reinstall it. Those seem to have worked for others in the past.

Thanks. I logged out and back in. Now it can’t find oil life, so I hope that means it will the next time I drive the truck (Friday).

Did you have any luck with the oil life coming back up?

Not yet. I’ll drive it about 38 miles tomorrow and then we’ll see. The app still can’t find oil life. Will probably have to delete and reinstall.

After driving the truck some more, the app finally picked up the oil change.

Glad it works now. I'm getting my oil changed later this week so I'll have to see how long mine takes to link up to the app.
