OE sourced (kind of) lower grill insert

I'm one step away from completing my lower grill insert. Painting it to match. It all started with a donor grill from a Crown Victoria police car. Several modifications later, including sectioning in honeycomb material in place of the Ford badge location and we have a grill that matches the contour and is flush with the adjoining faux side grill pieces. I am quite pleased with the results. I will post some finished pics once I have painted it to match.

The grill was created from a grill originally fitted to a Crown Victoria police car. It filled the open area above the lower valance with a grill matching the left and right faux grill inserts. It's function is to protect the intercooler from random debris and I believe it enhances the appearance.

Thank you. Welding, hot staples and epoxy for auto repairs.
