Back in the late 90s I worked for a Porsche dealership and Porsche did a similar demo for us so that we understood the differences in what was then a very new thing. I've used a full synthetic ever since.

I had a 2005 Xterra that I used fully synthetic on from day one. I am a believer that that contributed to it having 300,000 miles with no issues. If I wasn't getting the first 5 oil changes free from the dealership then I would be using synthetic right now.

that was pretty informative i sorta expected more of a mobil oil sales pitch instead of real info and process. i do feel a lil more warm and fuzzy knowing that my 5g has mobil one in it lol. but i also know what to look for on the label and price shop now. thanks!
