Hi all! have been following since 10/19, after getting my ingot silver super cab.
I've done a few mods, as others have.
I've followed closely to learn from others situations.
Thanks for all the advice and shared experiences.
By the way, this is my 5th Ranger!
I have an issue that I have not read about so far.
NO A/C coming from the drivers vent!
Others work!
Doesn't matter whether auto or not.
It blows hot air, not ambient.
Ideas?
Thanks in advance, milehibry

Do you have dual zone climate control?

Thanks for the thot.
Yes I do.
I forgot to mention that in the original post.
Doesn't seem to matter.
And, using max a/c doesn't change it either.
NEVER get a/c out of drivers two vents.
It's like there is a vacuum line(if applicable) that is in the wrong place or came off or, or, or.

I have found on my TC with zone climate control that it has gotten out of whack a couple of times .
I had to shut it completely OFF at the dash with the truck running then turn it back on.
Its sorta like a reboot. Don't know if it will work for you since my problem has only been zone coordination.
It could be that one"zone" is misbehavin'.
Good luck.
My Ranger just has manual A/C..

Just grasping at straws but have you tried turning the system to floor, then defrost then back to dash?

I'm sure you have checked but I'll mention it anyway. Are you sure the vents are open? The adjuster on the vents will completely shut the vents closed if you slide it all the way to the right. You can see the the shutters (about and inch behind the vent grill) open and close as you slide the adjuster right and left.

I had the same problem and no amount of switching settings or on/off would correct it. Dealer found a problem with the blend door assembly last spring and with the covid shutdowns and such finally received the part a couple of weeks ago. finally installed today and all seems to be working as it should. Now also realize that the heat settings weren't working fully either now that I know how it should have been.
