After doing a few months of hard looking I ended up purchasing a 2019 XLT SuperCab, FX4, Sport in Ingot Silver. Was going to wait in next gen Ranger, but those recent photos that were leaked were butt ugly. I like the current version much better.

Only thing the truck didn’t come with I wanted was spray in bed-liner so setting up an appointment at LineX.

Weathertechs are ordered and console organizer is on the way.

Next up is Bilsteins all around to improve the ride. Going to run some 255/75/17 tires when current ones are usedup. Mods will be complete after that.

I have discovered one Major comfort item I have to find a solution for…now that I’ve had time to drive longer than 15 minutes I have to find a custom seat guy or find some kind of cushion for the drivers seat. My sciatic nerve is getting aggravated every time I’m in the truck longer than 10 minutes. Have the power seats and playing with settings has not resolved the issue. I’ve had two back surgeries and this issue was gone until this new truck. Always something….

Have been lurking a while and learned quite a bit. Look forward to learning more.

Welcome! The Bilsteins will make a huge improvement on the overall ride. I'm surprised to hear about the seats being uncomfortable though. I have a bad back too and think these are very comfortable. We went on a 5,000 mile trip and never once was I in pain or uncomfortable. But everyone is different and hopefully you can get yours to your liking.

Welcome and nice looking truck. I have also had back surgery and it took me a little while to get the seat to my liking. But even on long trips, I use a seat pad and have to get out regularly to stretch. I still think these are some of the most comfortable seats. Hopefully you can find that sweet spot.

Welcome and awesome on your truck. You'll save thousands by having a 2019 and not needing to order all the deleted items!

I'm a massive Scab fan too!

Is it the seating position thats causing the issue or the cushioning not providing enough padding? There is a bracket type piece you can add that I believe makes it so your seat is at a differnt angle.

Thanks for your input. I’ll run down some info on this.

That is a good looking truck, love the colorway!

No problem, the part is called a seat jacker too if needed. I have never used one so not sure how well they work.

The Seat Jacker thread is here. A few chose to just use 1/2 inch nuts for the spacers and received the same results much cheaper. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I found a source for the seat jackers on line…$79.99 per seat. Your solution sounds much cheaper…lol

I have a gel cushion on the way. If that doesn’t work I’ll try the seat jacket method.
Thanks for the assist.
