First time pickup owner! I got tired of not being able to haul anything, so I traded in my 2008 BMW 328xi last Saturday on a 2020 4WD Supercab XL in iconic silver with the STX and tow packages.

I really love the engine/tranny combo in the Ranger. Seems to work well both around town and on the highway and gets slightly better gas mileage than the BMW without requiring premium fuel.

I've learned a lot reading this forum. Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge and experience!

Near-term plans:
  • Factory splashguards
  • Factory running boards
  • Body side moldings (already got a door ding)
  • Ignition trim bezel
  • Weathertech floor liners
  • Center console storage tray
  • Add the two tie-down points in the middle of the bed that Ford dropped for 2020
  • In-bed power outlet
  • Line-X (or similar)

Just bought the same truck (super cab though) couple weeks back! Love mine, glad you love yours!

Nice truck!

How do you like the factory step bars? I was thinking of adding them to help with door dings and save wear and tear on the seat (I find I tend to slide over the bolster when exiting).
