My wife's lease on her Escape was up in April 2021. We love her 2018 Escape but not the new model year design. We were holding out for a Bronco but the timing won't work out for that.

That said, we decided to go out this weekend and start looking at other options. She wanted something bigger and was doing research on the Explorer. After looking at the Edge she fell in love with it. THEN she saw the Edge ST. Had to have it. Best part (for me), is it has the 2.7 V6 Ecoboost. HOLY CRAP!

If Ford ever puts that in a Ranger, I'm trading.

Nice car and great color. My parents traded in their 14 Explorer sport for an edge st also. Much more fun to drive in my opinion and the 2.7 is a great engine. Congrats and enjoy.

The wife loves hers. We bought my Ranger and her ST at the same time.

Car looks great and great engine, too! Coming from a 2014 Explorer Limited, I looked long and hard at a 2019 Explorer ST (for the power) before deciding on the 2019 Ranger. I am sure that I made the right decision, but, like you, if they ever put the 2.7 in a Ranger, I will be trading up right away!

Nice “Wife’s Car”. Perfect for that role!

When I bought my FX4 Lariat I was in between the Edge ST and the Ranger. I could have gotten both for same price OTD. The Edge ST has so many cool features and more creature comforts and bells and whistles than my Lariat FX4. Love that you get to go to NC and Biltmore. But the reviews of the Edge ST kept me away (no worthy of ST moniker) and it isn’t any faster than the Sport.
Also Ford treats it like the red headed step child with almost no Ford performance support. After market is severally lacking as well.

Looks great. I have the same engine in our 17 Fusion sport. We are extremely happy with it. Many embarrassing moments for BMW’s and Audi’s on the highway any at stoplights.
It also gets reasonable gas mileage 24 mpg lifetime over 37000 miles for an all wheel drive.

My wife has a 2018 Edge Titanium with the 3.5 V6 she loves it. The car is cavernous and you can put anything you want in it she regularly packs it full when she goes shopping or to the grocery store. By the way what's the name of the color on yours.
