I backed into our mailbox today and smashed my left taillight. I can't believe I did, but I did.

The truck has Blind Spot Indicators.

What are my options to fix this taillight? If I buy a new assembly with BLIS module, will it need programmed or calibrated?

I would check with junk yards and/or used parts sellers online first.

One option is to go aftermaket, maybe some Anzousa's?

I wonder if I could use my BLIS module in an OEM non BLIS tail light. Similar to what is done with the Anzousa's?

I chipped the right one on my truck and have been looking at the Anzo. New OEM are $750!

If you go Anzo I’ll buy your right one for the right price.

I could also consider selling you my left and buy the Anzo

I didn’t think to ask Dave but may see if he’s able to get the right and sell it to me.

I haven’t seen where you can just buy the lens without the blis module. Maybe I’m a dummy!

I had some damage in that exact spot from a tree branch I hit backing up on a trail. Decided to fill the hole with body filler to waterproof it and put some red vinyl wrap material over it. Looks fine now and it's hardly noticeable, unless you're looking for it. Now I'm just waiting until I break it again or hit the other one to replace them...

Lamp assembly used to come with the BLIS module but now that are separate items.

KB3Z-13405-G Left tail light ($1083.33)
KB3Z-14C689-B BLIS module ($603.33)

Also not included are the brackets and screws for the BLIS module...

KB3Z-14D189-A Bracket ($84.50)
W505564 Bolt ($4.13)

Prices may have changed since last September but this is what my insurance paid....

OP should be able to just buy the lamp assembly and switch everything over.
