Neat GMRS Radio by Midland

So as I'm sure most of you have been looking for a radio that would fit your needs for your Ranger or other vehicles when it comes to trail comunication or other things. Well Midland USA just released an interesting radio. Essentially it is a radio they already have but in a portable form.

Very cool, but way overpriced. I built my own a while back for much much less. Plus if I have a Ham and GMRS radio installed in my truck.

Hard to argue if it is overpriced or not. Could you make it yourself at a lower cost? Yes and no. Its the time that brakes it a bit even. With that said if someone wants to make it themselves, then power to them

Hard pass. If I am in the field why would I not just use a hand-held with a big fat obnoxious antena that can fold over anyhow?

This is a money grab gucci product for the instagram overlanders / MILsim LARPers.

I would say its a good buy if it came with the radio though.

That will come in handy when I get my Bronco and need to call in an artillery strike on a group of Jeeps .
