You are not alone - I'm at 4 years and 7 months of ownership, and about 43k miles. This truck has done everything I've asked of it and more. It continues to impress me with its capabilities, its comfort and its looks. You hear a lot of complaints but not too many "I love my truck" posts - it is more common than you think.

I bought my Ranger in June of 19 and it's been almost flawless since I got it. Only issues I have had were the parking brake boot (replaced under warranty) and TPM on the right front again under warranty and the shitty floaty ride, I took care of that with Bilsteins 5100 all four corners. Those are the only problems I have had. Now I'll grant you I'm retired and don't drive a lot but it gets driven quite a bit. 25,000 and change on the odometer. It gets regular oil changes and what not. Has all the power I need looks better to me than 90% of the vehicles for sale today. It takes forest service road and what snow I have experienced in stride. Yes there are some things Ford cheaped out on and the dash layout is kind of odd but all in all it's been a great truck. Hell I even like my dealer. My question is what am I doing wrong?:LOL::LOL:.
Thinking that you like your dealer.

I am in the same boat. I absolutely love my Ranger and have had no problems what so ever. Lucille is a 2020 4x4 Lariat. Only 13000 miles so far and I can say also I am done with the mods. The list I have done is pretty long LOL. Some day I will do a build thread.

I'm also retired. Ordered my '19 Lariat in November of '18, and picked it up the first of April. Paid Invoice less $1000. It now has just shy of 60K miles. Only one issue ... truck when in to limp mode while towing 4K up Parley's Canyon east out of SLC. Erased codes and the problem has never returned. About 10% of the total miles have been towing about 4,500 pounds. Was used to the "floaty" ride but was still considering changing the shocks until new tires replaced the OEM Hankooks 2K miles ago. Still had another 5K remaining on those OEMs, but winter is coming so ... The replacement Vredestein Pinzas eliminated about 90% of the float although they hit the potholes and bumps noticeably harder than the OEMs and the MPG is 1-2 MPG less. Is it perfect ... no, of course not, and there are things I'd change or add, but nothing worth complaining about. Because of this forum the transmission gives me pause although it's still fine. I'm not losing sleep over it. Oh - my dealer is the best. Too far away for routine service but worth every mile to get to him for my purchases.

Yeah mine was great at 25K miles too. At 50K miles the CDF drum went in the tranny.

The only problem with maintaining vehicles up here is combating the salt on the roads.
When I lived out west car washes were plenty. I remember buying monthly passes for one close to my place. Godsend I tell you.
Except when the doors and door locks froze shut in January and February.

I've considered owning a car wash as a retirement gig around here.
In the winter when you blow $15 and hit one to make your winter white vehicle change back to its original color, the miles and miles to drive home it gets just as filthy. Wasted $15.

We definitely don't have enough car washes around here where I live
