Must be that popular
*shakes my head in shame at the side show developing here.
...says the guy who leaves his dancing banana out for all to see.

I was thinking this must be the popular 307a Body Delete Option or the Ranger Version we are shipping to Sweden with a shit load of body panels, nuts bolts and screws as revenge for what they did to us with Ikea.

I should have put a warning, so the damper people wouldnt be scared. This truck (not mine) was in an accident and was not totaled.
I wish u could offer more pics… and story… if it wasn‘t totaled what was the damage? And why the heck they completely dismantled the truck than? was the struckture damaged and they realigned the frame?

I dont know the details but, the price of new vehicles is so high that Ins. will fix a lot of extensive damage including a new frame.

This line of thinking assumes the existence and availability of an actual new frame, and all other non-reusable parts needed for installation. Nothing so far indicates to me that repair parts will ever be in good supply for this generation of Rangers, which is, ultimately, a decision-making factor that favors replacing the truck with something more sustainable. This is an argument in favor of leasing, with a stated residual value.

As long as the microchips are in good condition, everything else can be replaced.

Kinda surprised hey didn't grab one of the new ones supposedly sitting in storage (waiting on chips) and just stick the chips from the old one in it.

If MartyD's was totaled I would love to see how minor the damage was to warrant this type of repair. LOL :headbang: It only hurts when I stop.

There's a distinct possibility that the owner had a "rattle" somewhere he couldn't locate and simply decided to try and trace it down by taking his Ranger apart , one part at a time until he found it.
Obviously a very "deep hidden" rattle.......:like:
