After dealing with the dealer and the overwhelming support from this site - do you really want to own a Ranger ?
Yeah , I really do ... Last nite on the way home I hit 1000 miles , I was just rolling along ,compleatly comfortable like in it for years , last few miles to my house is fairly rural , its kinda like she already knows the way home and im just riding ...my issues with her all to well documented , but my anger about them is because they were uneasessary and made the truck worse , in thoses areas ...imo....

not by deception...........
Isn't the deception on them ? 1st anyway... They did 2500 worth of deception , I am only makeing them worry for a few more hours... They must have done something wrong on their end to offer the check , and in my packet they sent a little title , not the big one , its something to do with that... Judging by their concern about that paper , and a "non resident tax something" form (Indiana ,Not WV) that they may have messed up... Im just picking this up based on him and wifeys conversation though....

Sure a lot of drama in this, I'm not sure any of it is warranted.
Part of the reason its my last one , if I start a thread on "Its a nice day in in WV !" Gona get called out and weather reports gona get checked and on and on .... Weather breaking soon anyway , no time for online....

Phew, interesting thread and I'd love to learn about the final resolution.

I'm pretty naive and tend to take people at face value. My dealer research was pretty minimal, I looked at the handful within a 50 mile radius (lucky that there are a few), then looked at Google reviews. It was down to two, one only 1 mile away and another about 4 miles. The farther one was rated one better (4.6 vs 4.5) but I know someone that has used the closer one a few times and said they were decent.

So that was that, went in and had the sales order done in about 5 minutes (I had emailed him the link to my Ford.com build). I offered to put down a deposit but he said not to worry about it.

They don't charge anything extra and the final amount will be less than the online amount because of some online fee. Plus he offered the ASS delete and the whopping $50. Woohoo!

I got my Ford order confirmation the next day and then my VIN and build date a week or two later.

I asked him today if I qualify for any of those rebate things, I see that there's a $1,500 one on the Ford site right now. So fingers crossed. And my order is pretty budget: XL 2wd 101A with carpet and tow package.

I don't see the $1500 rebate?? Can you copy a screen shot or something?? I'd be interested in this. ;)

no you did the damage to yourself by not reading the paperwork and doing your due diligence. You admitted you half assed going through the second biggest purchase you'll ever make. This is due to your laziness and negligence and now you are being unnecessarily childish and difficult for zero reason.

Dang, should have replied directly to you, but it's here on this thread now and this link at Ford:

Your last one? I doubt that. You’re 28 of your own posts deep in a six-page thread. All this after going away once and then coming back.

I’m certain we haven’t seen the last of you.
